The current situation in undeveloped regions of East and Central Africa, are in serious need of united global support.

Over 300 million people in these regions live on less than $2 dollars per day. A typical family in this region is made up of 6 to 10 children. In many instances living together in a single family room.

Considering these complications it is difficult to survive and nearly impossible to attend higher education. Educating children in this region can cost a family an average of $700 to $1000 per Child. For the average family in this region, it is virtually impossible to afford education for a single child.

The most affected segment of the population is young girls. Many families encourage or force girls to leave school while others are never granted the opportunity to attend any schooling. Every child should have the right to a safe, formal, and equal learning environment.
